Things I’m Thankful For #7

Today in the United States of America, we are celebrating Veterans’ Day.

Veterans’ Day is a day to honor and celebrate the veterans who have defended our country. It is also a day of sadness, as we recognize that many have lost their lives doing so.

Today I am especially grateful for those who have served our country and those currently serving.  Not only am I grateful to those actually in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard, I am also thankful to their families.  Those who are left behind while their spouse, child, parent, loved one serves.  Thank you for your support.

Thank you, Veterans!

❤ Megan

  1. Great Thoughts on this Veteran’s Day! Don’t forget my brothers and sisters in the Coast Guard though!

  2. Great post! I am definitely grateful for them. I’ve had family and friends in the military. They are AMAZING people for doing what they do.

  3. Thank you for recognizing Veterans Day!

  4. A nice reminder to thank our vets (and current servicemen and women) today. I’m off to put flowers on my WWII vet grandfather’s grave. 🙂

  5. Thank you for this post. As an Army wife and the daughter of Air Force veterans, supporting those who serve or who have served weighs heavily on my heart.
I appreciate it when others take the time to give veterans some much deserved recognition.
    Thanks again!

  6. Thank you for sharing your gratitude today. We are lucky there are so many brave men and women!
