Studying on Saturday

The last five or six Saturday’s of my life have been either

a. FE Review class 8am-5pm


b. Early morning race and THEN class until 5pm


Today was no different. I then continued my long day by spending another four hours studying for my Thermo test. MY LIFE = Studying.

When will my life be normal?!?

I am studied out! Honestly though, my grades stink worse then my trash can. I NEED to do well on these tests… my future (aka graduating, getting out of massive debt, and moving away with Jason) depends on it!

Sorry, I needed to vent!


Now onto what you REALLY want to read about… FOOD!

I started my morning off with a bowl mug of Oatmeal. It’s easier to take it on the go this way.


It had the usual… with banana and almond butter.

Jason ate my leftover sushi, which was disappointing, but I decided to make sushi wraps!


I basically took a whole wheat wrap, spread a decent amount of sundried tomato hummus, added deli meat, and sprouts. Then, I wrapped it up, and cut into cute little bite sized pieces!


I packed the “sushi” with 2 carrots and extra hummus:


I like to have mini-meals when I’m at school, so I also packed a cut up honey crisp apple…


… and a pumpkin pie Kashi bar. These things taste like dessert, but are actually pretty healthy!


Time to wrap this post up! I’ll finish up the day’s eats in the morning. You will have to wait in suspense until then. I made a very “fall” meal, and had a “glo”-ing dessert! 😀

Saturday School

I’m not even sure if I’m awake right now…

Today went a little something like this:

5:30am: Alarm goes off, roll of the bed, Jason yells at me to stop hitting snooze.

5:45am-6:30am: Gym: Run 2 miles while being scared to death by Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi music video… I think I might have nightmares after watching that?! Do a few arm weight machines, and abs.

6:30-6:50am: Shower (didn’t have time to wash my hair, eeeeew), change, pack my breakfast/lunch/snacks

6:50am- Drive my semi-awake self to campus, and eat my Kashi Hot cereal. I would call this oatmeal… but it’s just not the same. I added a banana and some strawberries, and it tasted good, but it’s not oatmeal.

7:25am-7:30am: Hustle to the other side of campus. Game day parking requires me to park way out of the way!!


7:30am-12:00pm: First half of class. By the way, I’m taking this Saturday class as a refresher course before the FE. The FE is in 5 weeks… gaah!!! It’s not mandatory, but it’s really dumb if you don’t take it. Obviously.

10:30am: Snack #1, crunchy/obnoxious apple! 😀


12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch break! Highlight of my day!… now if only we had nap time and recess. Hmm…

I packed leftovers from Thursday, which you didn’t see because I took the night off blogging. Here’s the pretty version (from Thursday). Mine was in a sweet little tupperware, and I ate it cold. Tasted good actually!

  • chickpeas


1:00pm-5:30pm: Gaaaah. INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!! Text Meghann to stay sane. She mentions beer, I wake up. Thanks. 😀

Baggie of peanut m&m’s… the sugar helps me stay awake!! 😉 My reward for busting my ass on a Saturday. Don’t you dare judge!!!


5:30pm-6:00pm: Drive to Mellow Mushroom to meet Sarah, Meghann, RyanAshley, and Lindsey!


We all split two medium Mega Veggie with no mozzerella cheese pizza.


I had two slices



It was great seeing the girls again, and meeting Sarah!

After dinner, we hit up Jeremiah’s, a local italian ice place!


It has been too long!! I ordered my typical stand-by, Scoop Froggy-Frog (mint chocolate chip with swirl ice cream).


I honestly contemplated going straight home and putting PJ’s on. I am SO tired (and was so tired) from class all day. I’m glad I went out tonight! Life is too short to work hard and be boring!

See you in the morning! I have a 12.0 miler planned with Caitlin and Meghann!
